Our love story
She was busy and occupied. He was chilling — but focused.
Life had them in different gears: she, moving fast and building her world; he, steady and centered in his own.
And yet, as fate would have it, they both landed in one of the least desirable cities — Pittsburgh.
At a Black professionals mixer, they found themselves alone at the bar, amidst a crowd of potential connections.
He offered to buy her a drink.
She said no.
And that set the tone for the years that followed.
The Gentle Pursuit
Still, he never disappeared.
He’d check in, invite her out, drop a message now and then — always gentle, always patient.
She, consistent in her no’s, stayed focused on her path… until one day, something shifted.
She reached out. Just to check in.
He arranged a date.
And this time — it was yes.
A Love That Waited
What followed was, and still is, a beautiful story of friendship, laughter, support, and a love that is real, chivalrous, and true.
Now, they’re saying yes again — to each other, to forever, and to a life built on mutual respect, divine timing, and quiet faith in the right things unfolding.
